The Emile Henry Round Dish in Madeleine (Clay) is as beautiful on the table as it is in the oven. Madeleine - a warm, natural clay tone with a glossy glaze - brings an earthy, artisanal beauty to everything baked in it.

Wide and elegant at 37cm, it’s made for cakes and desserts that deserve a moment — a lemon ricotta cake with pears, a chocolate fudge cake, a smooth vanilla custard, a golden apple and red fruit crumble, or a classic flan. The soft curves of the dish do half the presentation work for you.

Made from Emile Henry’s HR® (High Resistance) ceramic, heat distributes evenly and gently right to the heart of the mixture — the secret to well-risen cakes and perfectly set custards. A light coating of oil before baking is all you need for a natural non-stick effect. The glaze is knife-safe and metal-utensil friendly, PFAS-free, BPA-free and lead-free, made entirely from natural materials. It won’t stain, scratch, retain odours or alter the taste of your food.
