Bialetti's L'Ominio or 'little man' is one of the coffee world's most recognisable symbols. This classic Italian aluminum coffee pot was originally invented by Alfonso Bialetti in 1933 thereby revolutionising the way Italians (and, now, most of the world) enjoys their beloved espresso forever. A Moka Pot (or stovetop espresso) is safe and easy to use and makes the perfect espresso every time.

A couple of fun facts: a Bialetti stovetop espresso is found in nine out of ten households in Italy. And, having been voted the fifth best Italian industrial design of the 20th Century, the Moka Pot can be seen displayed in the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA).

• may be used on gas, electric or ceramic cooktops
• is not suitable for use on induction cooktops
• is very easy to use and maintain compared to a machine
• should not be placed in the dishwasher
