The height-adjustable insert gives you full control over slice thickness, from paper-thin cucumber for a delicate salad through to thicker cuts for potato gratin, vegetable chips or preserving. Hard vegetables like kohlrabi and carrot are no challenge, and soft ones like tomato and onion slice cleanly without crushing. This Basic Set includes the V5 PowerLine Slicer, Slice & Safety Insert, and Safety Food Holder to protect your fingers while you work.
Cleaning is simple - slide the insert to the last setting to guard the blades, then rinse under running water.
