Constant grinding angle
Knife sharpening can sometimes be tricky, but HORL® sharpeners make it really easy and a true pleasure for everyone, by eliminating the need for any prior knowledge or experiments to obtain the right angle!

While the grinding disc rolls gently back and forth along the blade, the knife is held firmly in place by the magnetic angle support. For moments of pure pleasure in the kitchen. Horl's magnetic angle support is a practical way to ensure the knife is always held at exactly the right angle. Once sharpened with the HORL®, a knife can be quickly resharpened over and over again.

The main steps.
Make sure that the worktop, sharpener, magnetic angle support and knives are
clean before use. As diamond particles and steel abrasion may arise, choose a
work surface that will not be damaged by them. The sharpening process requires
your complete attention! Never roll the sharpener beyond the tip of the blade and
only apply gentle pressure when sharpening, so that the knife does not bend as you
work.

Affix Position the magnetic angle support with its feet on a non-slip surface. Then affix the knife to the S-Pad so that it is held securely.
Grind Keep the magnetic angle support steady by pressing it firmly. Then gently roll the diamond grinding disk back and forth along the cutting edge with only a gentle pressure.
Turn over Turn the knife around and repeat the grinding process on the other side of the blade to achieve an even sharpening result.
Hone To refine the cutting edge and remove any burr, rotate the sharpener 180° and repeat steps 2 and 3 with the ceramic honing disk. For optimal sharpness, wipe the knife with a cloth or strop with a leather.
