The Asian Food Republic Make Your Own Hot Sauce Kit brings Thai and Korean spice mixes together with easy-to-follow instructions, so you can make your own sauces at home. It's a fun gift for a hot sauce fan, a curious cook or someone who enjoys trying something new in the kitchen.
Make a batch to serve alongside your favourite meals, then put the blends to work in other ways too. Use them as a dry rub for meat or add a little to stir-fried noodles and rice dishes for an extra flavour kick. With two different mixes to explore, there's plenty of inspiration beyond the sauce bottle.
The kit includes a Japanese sauce dish for serving your creations, plus an instructions and inspiration card to get you started. The dish design may vary, giving each box its own finishing touch. Made in New Zealand by Asian Food Republic.

Korean spice mix (90g)
Produced in a kitchen that also handles wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, soy, sesame, peanuts, cashews and almonds (GF, V).
Ingredients: dried Korean red chilli flakes, sichuan.
Thai spice mix (90g)
Produced in a kitchen that also handles wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, soy, sesame, peanuts, cashews and almonds (GF, V).
Ingredients: dried chilli, sea salt, palm sugar, dried garlic, red pepper flakes, dried Thai lime leaf and lemongrass powder.
