About the Author: Julie Jones learnt to cook from her mother. Never anything fancy but always packed with flavour, loaded with butter and made with love. She re-trained as a chef at the age of 30 and did a short stint at Heston Blumenthal's pub The Hinds Head and also The Fat Duck. Completely inspired, she realised how flavour could be taken to a whole new level. She has found her creative space on Instagram to be a form of therapy, and has discovered great warmth, support and a shared passion for food and baking from her 14.1k followers. Julie runs a successful supper club from home hosting weekly dinner parties. These are booked up until July 2017 purely through word-of-mouth recommendations. She has appeared on BBC TV's new daytime cooking contest programme Yes Chef, judged by Pierre Koffman. She lives in Carlisle in the north of England and has been told she's a 'TV natural'.
