This PME impression mat is ideal for use with a range of edible materials including: sugarpaste (rolled fondant), modelling paste (gum paste) or marzipan. The mini heart pattern can be used for a great variety in cake designs. Both sides of the mat can be used to create either an embossed or raised design. Great for lovely cakes and cupcakes!
This PME impression mat is ideal for use with a range of edible materials including: sugarpaste (rolled fondant), modelling paste (gum paste) or marzipan. Instructions for use:
Knead and roll out the paste to an even thickness using sugar for dusting.
Choose the design side required and lay the impression mat onto the paste.
Firmly push a smoother across the impression mat to emboss the design into the paste. Ensure all areas of the mat are pushed into the paste.
Remove the mat to reveal the design on the paste.
Spray with edible lustre to enhance the decorated paste.
Size: approx. 15 x 30.5 cm.
