Learn how to create professional-looking flowers and designs made from royal icing. Your Certified Wilton Method Instructor teaches you how to make lifelike rosebuds, pansies, and violets, plus detailed patterns, like lace and basketweave designs.

Details:

  • Design the colour palette and pattern for a cake
  • Apply advanced buttercream icing piping techniques like basketweave, cornelli lace and brush embroidery
  • Create seven different types of flowers, and understand how to feature them on your next project
  • Pipe royal icing appliques and additional decorative borders

Course Cost $230.00 price includes; classes (4 x 2 hour sessions) & tool kit.

Weekend express classes $269.95 price includes classes (4x 2hour sessions), tool kit & pre-made icing. 

Please Note: In order to attend Course 2 you must have completed Course 1 - Buttercream Basics. You will be sent a list of what you need to bring for the classes on each day, for the weekend express classes your icing is all pre-made and provided, hence the added expense. Course Times:
2A Thursday Evenings 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th September 6-8pm

Milly’s will continue to observe best practice with regards to health and safety, and hygiene protocols. You will also be able to ‘check in’ using your New Zealand Covid Tracer App. Please note, in order to have the best learning experience, our classes are very ‘hands-on’ and we often require students to gather together to observe demonstrations and to share resources plus your tutor will circulate around the class to provide individual tuition. Course Location: 
All our decorating classes are held in our Cake Decorating school at 20 Heather Street, Parnell, Auckland 1010.

Please Note: This payment is for an online booking for a class, there are no physical vouchers or forms posted, you will receive an email from our Cookschool confirming your booking, including information around what to bring with you for the first class. Please check your spam mail for this email if you've not heard from us.

Your course price includes: Course Kit, instruction book & 8 hours hands on teaching.

For our weekend express classes your price includes enough pre-made icing to re-create all the skills covered in class.

You will need to bring; Various utensils from home and pre-made icing (for courses that are not weekend express). We email you approx 1week before the first class, with a list of what you will need to bring with you on which days please keep an eye out for this email as they are often re-directed by people's spam filters. 

 

Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations advised more than ten days from the class will receive a full refund. Between ten days and 48 hours before the class, we offer a 50% refund due to administration fee and loss of space. Classes advised within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund or a transfer to another class unless we are able to fill the vacancy from any waiting list we are holding. Transferred classes cannot be refunded. Occasionally, we are unable to reach the minimum numbers required for a class to go ahead and we must cancel at short notice - if this should happen, we will give you as much notice as we can and will, of course, provide you with a full refund of your course cost.
